Brands That Sell Jewelry Every Fashionista Must Have
Whether you're heading to a chic cocktail party or a night out with the hubby, fabulous necklaces are your perfect statement pieces that every diva must have in her closet.
With a play on the British term, “boyish” and “elfish,” most feared this cut for looking too masculine, but no worries, this ultra chic style is now all the rage. Making a comeback, be daring with bold choices like colored highlights and messy curls.
According to editorial stylist Mandee Tauber, "It's all about the fresh, textured movement of shag bangs,"she explains. Don’t want to cut your own hair? Now you can add on a clip on bang for the same look. Even wear this bang with a ponytail for a casual feel.
Deep Side Part
When it comes to hitting refresh on your appearance, turn up the voltage with a dramatic deep side part. Take the part further across the face, creating a side-swept style and voila...instant volume and texture. Whether you’re rocking a pixie, bob, mid-length hair or long Rapunzel tresses, this craze will highlight the eyes, slim the face and emphasize the cheekbones.
When done right, this celebrity favorite is perfect for parties and red carpets. Create the dewy look and pair it with a bold lip for a strong statement.
Thanks to celebrities, fashion shows and red carpets around the world, this sleek look is just in time for the summer, whether you’re heading to the beach or a night out. But how do you actually do it? What products do you have to have? The ‘wet look’ can be broken down two ways – smooth it out for the ‘Sleek and Shiny’ look or the more textured ‘Straight from the beach’ approach. Check out the following instructions for a perfect slick back hairstyle and hit the runway.
THE SLEEK AND SHINY LOOK
It’s the famous look where hair is slicked back through the top and the sides, cascading down the back all shiny and dewy!
1. Comb your wet hair back from your face using a wide tooth comb. Comb straight from front to back over the crown. Comb the sides flat and all the way through to the back behind your ear.
2. Apply a generous amount of pomade following the track marks from the wide tooth comb through the top and sides.
STRAIGHT FROM THE BEACH
1. Start by working pomade through damp hair, making sure to not ‘brush’ it through with your fingers too much. You want to retain as much texture and natural movement possible. Twist hair in sections to help it clump together and not go fluffy.
2. Dry hair with gentle heat until hair is 80% dry. Don’t over dry! Gently shake hair out and mold into place with the palms of your hands.
